According to most dictionaries, ‘talent’ is
the natural ability to do something well.

Natural ability is sometimes called ‘God
Given Talent’, but not always true.

When I think of the word ‘talent’ a lot of different
things come to my mind. For example someone
who can sing in key, or someone who can dance
like Fred Astaire or play baseball like Babe Ruth.

There are thousands of different things that one
could  have a ‘talent’ for. I believe that almost
anyone  can have some kind of ‘talent’.

Let me tell you about what ‘talents’ I believe
I have, some maybe God given and some
maybe ‘talents’ I built myself.

 When I was 5, 6, and 7 years old, I sang and
danced on a stage for the Anderson Sister’s
School of Dance. Apparently the ‘talent’ I had
was that I was ‘cute’. I guess one could say
that my being cute at that age was God given.
On the other hand, if I was cute because I
combed  my hair a certain way, then who knows?

When I was 7 years old I started taking accordion
lessons until I was about 17. While I still have
my accordion, I find it easier to sit down at
my piano. In this case my ‘talent’ is that
I can play almost any song by ear.

Here is a different kind of ‘talent’. When I was
16,  in 1966, I developed a car burglar alarm and
for about 30 years I was in the car burglar alarm
business in the San Francisco installing about 200
car burglar alarm systems a month.  My ‘talent’
is that I self-taught myself how to do what I did.

‘Talent’ comes in many different ways.

Do you like to sing or dance?

Do you play a musical instrument?

Would you like to play a musical instrument?

Do you have any hobbies?

Do you do sports?

Is there a particular sport you like?

Do you have your own website? Would you
like to learn how to build your own website?

What ‘talents’ do you think you have?

If any of this interest you, please feel
free to contact me. Maybe I can help.

More to come...
